We welcomed in and said good-bye to yet another Thanksgiving holiday. Family, friends, acquaintances and many reasons to be thankful. We’re already in the next and last month of the 2010 Calendar year.
Using fresh cranberries was new for me. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve tucked away a good stash in the freezer for use during the year when they’re not in season. I feel good to not have over indulged in too many decadent sweets and hoping to enjoy more naughty-and-nice dishes and desserts this holiday month.
I do hope you’ll join me!

From sweet, vibrant cranberry sauce, a helping of creamy cauliflower gratin, meeting dear friends for Smashing Pumpkin cocktails or getting back to basics with healthy honey-raisin bran muffins, it was a good month for new recipes and bringing back classic comfort food dishes.
Looking forward to this most beautiful of months and holiday season!

Cristina, such a great idea to have a wrap-up at the end of the month. Everything looks wonderful but my favorite for this month is the festive cranberry upside down cake. That is one gorgeous cake!

I loved your pecan pie cakelets this month-but your photo of cranberry sauce is one of the most gorgeous I’ve seen. I love cranberries and you elevated them to something very elegant with that photo.
