Another recipe for candied nuts! During the holidays I needed a good, simple recipe and to my shame, could not find a good one at the last minute when a family member did not come through. Lessons learned… but just like the Candied Pecan post earlier — so easy!
Candied Walnuts
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup walnut halves
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the walnuts and cook, stirring, until golden brown and toasted, about 3 minutes. Add sugar and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
Transfer to waxed paper, separate with fork and cool.
Makes 1/2 cup
