Learn Food Photography and Food Styling Blog
In case you missed it…last night I Twittered about this great blog Learn Food Photography and Food Styling. Excellent reads with posts like:

Oprah Magazine – January 2010 Issue
The Oprah Magazine listed four Food Blogs in their January 2010 Issue, Sites To See column.
Wouldn’t that be amazing to be named in that magazine? The blogs:
- For Fledgling Chefs: Deb Perelman’s Smittenkitchen.com
- For Healthy Eaters: Heidi Swanson’s 101cookbooks.com
- For Cooks Stuck in a Rut: SeriousEats.com
- For Food Tourists: Pim Techamuanvivt (Author of The Foodie Handbook) ChezPim.com
Professional Photographer Magazine – December 2009 Issue
Did you catch the December 2009 issue of the Professional Photographer magazine? There’s a beautiful feature article on photographer James Baigrie. The 8-page spread includes some inspiring and gorgeous food photography and discusses his approach and experiences that had led him to a very successful career as a photographer.
It’s a good read so if you don’t receive the magazine, beg, borrow, plead for someone to lend you a copy!

Thanks a lot for featuring the blog.
I have to agree with most of you that food photography is very complex. But I have to add that as any skill it can be perfected 🙂
Here are few tips that I have found useful.
• Read Your Camera Manual.
• Understand Your Camera.
• Understand Your Subject too.
• Answer this “What do I want to show in the picture?”
• Use White Plates.
• Use White Background.
• Remove Distraction from Background.
